SERVICE
As a teacher-scholar-activist, I am committed to working with and in community. I am intentional in engaging in service opportunities with/in the university or larger professional networks that are actively working toward social justice in or beyond teacher education, early childhood education and care, or academia. This entails formal service roles, such as serving on committees or volunteering my time, as well as informal roles doing the transformative work of reforming university curricula and policies. It is important to me that it isn’t the institutions that are being serve, but that networks of community are being nurtured and sustained.
Below are a few select examples of service work I have been involved with over the past few years.
